We bought ceramic bearings from other manufactures and couldn't see any real difference from our standard bearings.
I sent them to North Star Racing just see if they could help us. We dyno'd our KT100 and saw an immediate gain of 1000 RPM's and over 2 Horse Power.
That next day I ordered the chassis bearings.

Midway through the feature, I and others would fall way off on lap times and couldn't hang with the leaders to the finish.
We tried numerous chassis setups and could not keep the kart loose enough through out the entire race.
We pitted next to these shifter guys, They were high fiving about how they were dominating the track that day.
I asked them "what tire pressure and cross they were using", They laughed and told me to spin their front spindle tire.
Curiously, I spun the wheel. I watched their tire spin 5 times longer than ours.
They then stated "Imagine what your Flat Head would do!!".
I ordered the bearings from North Star and received them in 8 days.
We are now in the top 3 in the point standings.

I own a tool and die machine shop. We engineer and machine all kinds of engine parts that are used in all types of racing.
I heard of this North Star fellow and his outrages claims from our customers.
We invited him down to our shop to prove his worth.
I showed him all the different kinds of ceramic bearings we install and supply to our racers.
He disassemble my top selling bearing Silicon Nitride! I told him about our wheel and tire vibration and temperature problems with these bearings.
Scott showed us the flaws and signs of cracking.
He asked for a shop rag and hammer, He hit the ball with the hammer and it shattered.
Perplexed, We made him do the same to his bearing, The only damage was to our floor, leaving a divot in it.
He also showed us how they reversed engineered the bearing to become a precise free spinning race bearing.
Now he's talking my language.
